University of Tennessee students and first-place prize winners in UT’s Business Plan Competition, Joey Natour and Seth Elliott, were featured in the Knoxville News Sentinel. Natour and Elliott won $5,000 for their creation of Dine Touch, a smart restaurant technology system. They will use their winnings as capital for their new company, which will install a pilot program in Market Square’s Cafe 4 in June. Elliott tells the newspaper, the initial test will only incorporate three of Cafe 4’s tables, but he anticipates the program will be ready for large-scale operation and new clients by July.
