On Wednesday, May 4, Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek will host an open forum for faculty and staff. UT’s new fiscal year starts in July, and Chancellor Cheek will give an update on the university’s budget and plans that have already been put in place to offset the decreased state funding. Much of the time will be used for questions and answers about the budget and other topics employees would like to discuss.
The forum will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Hermitage Room on the third floor of the Carolyn P. Brown Memorial University Center. Refreshments will be served.
