The balloons were given to CEE by Disney, and the center donated them to patients following a day-long career building program.

Patients at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital were surprised last week when they received dozens of bright, helium-filled Disney balloons courtesy of Disney and UT’s Center for Executive Education.

The balloons were donated to the patients following a one-day career building program called The Disney Keys to Excellence, which was hosted by the UT Center for Executive Education and taught by Disney professionals.

“The Center has a wonderful opportunity to help bring happiness to the patients of Children’s Hospital,” said Carolyn Cuddy, executive director of the Center for Executive Education. “Disney has generously offered to allow us to donate the balloon decorations from the Disney workshop to an organization within our community, and making a child smile is one of the best benefits to partnering with a world-class organization such as Disney.”
