The 62nd Annual Student Art Competition at UT Knoxville will be on view at the Ewing Gallery in the Art + Architecture Building starting tomorrow, March 10, and running through Thursday, March 26.The exhibit will open tonight with a public slide talk by juror Robin Easter at 6:30 p.m. in the McCarty Auditorium. The awards ceremony will begin at 8 p.m. A reception from 7 to 9 p.m. will feature live music and food donated by Knoxville-area establishments.

One of the oldest student competitions in the United States, the exhibit will feature juried artworks in all media. The Student Art Competition at UT Knoxville is supported annually by the UT Visual Arts Committee.

The Ewing Gallery and McCarty Auditorium are located in the Art + Architecture Building, 1715 Volunteer Blvd. on the UT Knoxville campus.

The Ewing Gallery is free and open to the public Monday and Thursday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 – 4 p.m.
