In honor of Health and Wellness Week, the Ready for the World Café will feature healthy dishes from around the world the week of March 9.
The menu includes kickin’ chicken fajitas; sunset seafood skewers; Spanish crusted pork tenderloin; eggplant cannelloni; zucchini parmesan; baked risotto primavera; a simple salad with citrus vinaigrette; and a fruit and yogurt parfait.
On Thursday, a jazz ensemble will play at the café.
Christy Powell, a senior majoring in nutrition, is this week’s café manager.
The Ready for the World Café is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each Monday through Thursday in the Hermitage Room on the third floor of the University Center.
Diners pay $11 for the all-you-can-eat buffet or $9 for a plate of food to carry out.
