Where in the World is Smokey?Wanted: Students, faculty, staff and alumni of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who are willing to take Smokey to the states he hasn’t yet visited.

The "Where in the World is Smokey" challenge — which offers free T-shirts for faculty, staff, students and alumni who will send in their travel photos for posting on the UT Web site — will wrap up this semester with the goal of getting Smokey to the rest of the 50 states.

Created to draw attention to Ready for the World, UT’s international and intercultural initiative, the challenge has been running since the beginning of the 2007-2008 academic year and, to date, Smokey has visited all seven continents, 37 states and the District of Columbia. He still needs to visit Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia and Wyoming.
