The UT Ewing Gallery will present the exhibition Mirror from Jan. 7 – 23, 2009. On view will be recent paintings by New York City artist Carrie Pollack who is currently serving as Lecturer with the UT School of Art. 

"Diamonds" by Carrie PollackPollack’s work has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and abroad in places including Berlin, Germany; Chicago, Illinois; New York, New York; and Oakland, California. She has been granted residences at Yaddo, Saratoga Springs, New York; The Jentel Artists Residency Program in Banner, Wyoming; the Virginia Center of the Creative Arts, Amherst, VA: and the Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, Vermont. 

In conjunction with the exhibition, Pollack will present a public slide talk on Thursday, Jan. 15, 7 p.m., in the McCarty Auditorium of the Art + Architecture Building. The exhibition reception will follow in the Ewing Gallery at 8 p.m.

The Ewing Gallery and McCarty Auditorium are located at 1715 Volunteer Boulevard on the UT campus.
