Employees Get Sneak Peek at Renovated UT Baseball Stadium

Thornton Academic Student Life Center employees (left to right) Arielle von Boettinger, Emily Morgan and Jacqui Schuman enjoy the lemonade at the renovated Lindsey Nelson Baseball StadiumUT employees from across campus gathered at Lindsey Nelson Baseball Stadium yesterday for a special employees-only sneak peak at the facility.

The stadium is getting a facelift in celebration of 100 years of Tennessee baseball. The first phase of renovations is complete, which provides the greater Knoxville area the chance to take a look. Those in attendance Wednesday took a tour the facility and watched the Vols practice. They also entered to win a "Flex 20 Pack" of baseball tickets—20 tickets good anytime—and baseballs autographed by Chris Burke or Luke Hochevar. Cookies and lemonade were provided.
