Alan Chesney, executive director of UT Knoxville Human Resources, has been elected chair of the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) – Southern Region. The association conducts research and analysis to enhance human relations practices.
Chesney came to UT in 1996. In addition to his regular duties, he teaches Human Resource courses in the College of Business.
