KNOXVILLE — Debbie Diddle of Knoxville has been elected to lead the University of Tennessee’s nearly 300,000 member national alumni association for 2006-07.
Debbie DiddleNew officers for the University of Tennessee’s National Alumni Association were announced Friday, June 23, after the group’s annual board meeting in Knoxville.
Diddle, a CPA and owner of her own firm, received a bachelor’s degree in education from UT Knoxville. She has been a member and past chair of UT’s Chancellor’s Associates and the UTNAA’s Women’s Council.
She also has participated in the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2000; Junior League of Knoxville board; and advisory board for BankEast.
Debbie Ingram of Chattanooga will serve as president-elect. Ingram is a physical therapist and professor at UT Chattanooga. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees from UT Chattanooga and UT Knoxville, respectively. She has served as vice president of the UTNAA and is a former president of the Hamilton County alumni association. She also was a member of the UTC Trustee Advisory Council.

–Jim Bundy, Paris, Tenn., vice-president
–Kevin Clark, Birmingham, Ala., treasurer
–Dean Skadberg, Knoxville, national chair of annual giving and immediate past president
Officers lead the UTNAA’s efforts throughout the country to engage alumni and encourage involvement with the university. The group’s mission is to represent its members; augment university resources; strengthen faculty; and encourage excellence in teaching, research and service.
