KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee will host the fifth annual campus-wide Clifton M. Jones Student Leadership Conference March 4, 2006.
The conference, titled “Taking the Torch Global, One Leader at a Time,” will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center.
UT faculty members are asked to identify undergraduate students they would like to nominate to attend the conference. Nominees should be current leaders or demonstrate leadership potential.
Student nominations can be submitted online at http://web.utk.edu/~leader by clicking on Leadership Conference, Faculty/Staff Information.
To submit multiple nominations, a list including each student’s name, phone number and e-mail address may be sent to leader@utk.edu.
Nominations will be accepted until November 30.
This conference will give undergraduate students the opportunity to explore aspects of leadership and refine their personal leadership styles through a series of workshops and presentations.
