KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee offers the nation’s best value in an MBA program and one of the best overall MBA programs in the world, according to the Financial Times Global Business School Rankings.
UT ranked 54th among all U.S. schools with MBA programs and 89th worldwide.
The program ranked No. 1 nationally in alumni value three years after graduation (“value for money”) and 7th worldwide — the only U.S. school in that category’s top 15.
Financial Times also rated UT strong in MBA graduates- placement success, based largely on 2003 graduates landing jobs at companies such as Nestle, Morgan Keegan, Lowe-s, Home Depot, Procter & Gamble, and Citigroup.
“The University of Tennessee once again has shattered convention with its newly enhanced, 17-month, integrated MBA program,” Dr. Sarah Gardial, associate dean of academic programs, said. “Our innovative curriculum weaves together three parallel tracks: traditional business disciplines and tools needed by every business manager; career development and leadership skills; and integrated supply chain economics.

Last fall, Financial Times ranked UT’s Senior Executive MBA program 32nd domestically and 58th in the world. It ranked UT 6th in the U.S. and 13th worldwide in the category of graduates’ aims achieved.
