A joint meeting of the University of Tennessee Presidential Search Committee and Search Advisory Council has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. (CDT) Tuesday, Oct. 21, in the auditorium of the Nashville Public Library, 615 Church Street, Nashville.

The purpose of the meeting is to complete appointments to the Search Advisory Council by naming four UT faculty and a non-exempt staff member as members.

The council already has named four students, four alumni leaders, four trustees, and an exempt staff member.

Other topics of the meeting include appointments of the Search Advisory Council committees and committee chairs; planning for campus forums; and discussion of other organizational issues.

Andrea Loughry chairs the trustees’ Presidential Search committee. Dr. Margaret Perry, chancellor emeritus of UT-Martin, is executive director of the search.
