KNOXVILLE — Edee Vaughan, an assistant director in Student Activities, has been honored as an outstanding campus activities professional by the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA).

Vaughan was recognized for her contributions to student affairs and her work as an activities advisor. The award came at the NACA’s South regional conference held recently in Chattanooga.

Vaughan supervises the TeamVOLS volunteer center and advises the Student Issues Committee and the Women’s Coordinating Council.

“Edee is very involved with the students on campus, and this award is a great recognition of her hard work and dedication,” Dr. Maxine Thompson, UT Dean of Students, said.

The NACA works to link higher education and entertainment through business partnerships that create opportunities for their student and professional members.
