A called meeting of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees has been scheduled for 1 p.m., EDT, Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the 8th floor boardroom of Andy Holt Tower.
The purpose of the meeting is to begin the process of searching for a new UT president.
Also, a special ad hoc committee appointed by Gov. Phil Bredesen is scheduled to meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Room A, University Club.
The group will review the recent audit report of the UT president’s office from a governance perspective and recommend any needed changes.
