SPRING HILL — The Middle Tennessee Agricultural Experiment Station will host a University of Tennessee field day on Thursday, July 24.

The event, titled “Making Forages Work,” includes technical sessions about the importance of forage plants that are grazed or harvested for use as animal feed, cooking demonstrations that promote Tennessee products and cooking on a budget, lawn equipment presentations and a fishing contest for all ages sponsored by the Tennessee River Angler Bass Club.

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. at the Middle Tennessee Experiment Station in Spring Hill.
