KNOXVILLE — In the wake of Tuesday-s terrorist attacks, counselors from UT-s Counseling Center will be available to students and staff on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 13-14, in 216 and 217 University Center.

“Our concern is for our students and staff, and we are interested in doing anything we can to help them through this time,” Dr. Gary Klukken, director of the UT Counseling Center, said.

“Nobody prepares for an event like this, and when it does happen, it shakes us to the core. It-s a time when it-s helpful to talk and to share.”

Counselors will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. No appointment is necessary.

In addition to the special hours at the University Center, the Counseling Center at 900 Volunteer Boulevard will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
