Dr. John Henton, professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine-s Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences, has received the University of Tennessee-s Volunteer Spirit Award. Henton was presented the award by Dr. Clifton Woods, UT interim provost, during a ceremony Aug. 29 at the college. The award is presented twice a year by the provost-s office to a UT employee who exemplifies volunteerism and community service.
