KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee career services director has been honored by the Southeastern Association of Colleges and Employees (SACE).
Dr. Robert Greenberg received the STAR Award for significant and outstanding contributions to the profession, society or the organization.
Greenberg came to UT in 1984 after serving in the Peace Corps. He earned a doctorate in higher education administration at UT and has held various leadership positions in higher education.
In 1998 he was inducted into the National Association of Colleges and Employers, and he is a former recipient of the Chevron Award. Greenberg is the author of several articles published in the Journal of Career Planning and Employment.
SACE membership includes colleges and universities throughout the Southeast, Fortune 500 companies, small and mid-sized firms from throughout the nation, and government agencies.
It provides professional development and on-going training to promote personal and ethical standards and to foster relationships among employment and career services professionals.
