The University of Tennessee-Knoxville Faculty Senate will sponsor an open forum on the streamlining of the University of Tennessee with President J. Wade Gilley at 3:30 p.m., Dec. 16, in the University Center Shiloh Room.
Gilley will discuss the plan to reduce administrative costs, consolidate UT-Knoxville, UT-Memphis and UT Space Institute, and save more than $8 million in administrative costs over the next six years.
The forum is open to the university community and the general public.
