Knoxville — The Law Enforcement Innovation Center will receive $1 million in federal funds, Congressman Zach Wamp said Monday.
The innovation center is a joint project between UT’s Institute for Public Service and the Knoxville Police Department. It offers advanced training to police officers from Tennessee and other Southeastern states.
