KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee College of Nursing is offering a symposium for nurses interested in helping hold clinical trials.

The daylong symposium, “Emerging Roles for Nurses in the Conduct of Clinical Trials,” is scheduled for Saturday, Aug.28, in Wood Auditorium at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

The program focuses on the process of clinical trials, the ethical and regulatory requirements and the roles for nurses. It is open to nurses from any specialty and to graduate nursing students.
