The University of Tennessee-Knoxville will offer 11 continuing education workshops across the state starting March 10.

The sessions are designed for social work and human service providers, Karen Sowers, dean of the College of Social Work said.

“We strive to develop innovative educational opportunities to reach human service providers in under-served, rural and remote areas,” Sowers said. “To achieve this goal, we plan to enhance some programs with the use of video conferencing technologies.”

The workshop schedule:

— Techniques in Case Management, March 10, Knoxville.

— Marital Therapy With One Partner, March 11, Chattanooga.

— Facilitating Trauma and Abuse Recovery Groups, March 18, Cookeville.

— Helping Clients Succeed in Therapy and Life, March 19 in Nashville and April 23 in Knoxville.

— Ethics for Practitioners, March 26, Johnson City.

— Assessing and Helping Treat Overeaters, April 9, Memphis.

— Improving Management Performance, April 12.

— Living With Grief (a national teleconference), April 14, Knoxville, Nashville and Martin.

— Cross Cultural Communication, April 19, Knoxville.

— Breaking the Cycle of Family Violence, April 22, Knoxville.

— Caring for Seniors, May 5, Knoxville.
