Students from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville took second place in an international master of business administration competition in Canada.

The five-member UT team was runner up to ESAN Graduate School of Business in Peru, Eddie Armbrister, UT team coach, said. There were 34 schools in the competition at Concordia University in Montreal.

“Our team has much to be proud of,” Armbrister said. “Excelling in this global arena demonstrated the quality of our program and its students.”

Team members are Millicent Bell, Rick Craven, Sharonda McMurray, Kyle Smith and alternate Leslie Goff.

UT-Knoxville MBA students are entered in three other competitions this year, Armbrister said.
