KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — C. Reagan Kinser, son of Russell and Mary Kinser of Elizabethton, earned top graduate honors in summer commencement exercises Friday at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Kinser, a materials science and engineering major, was awarded top grad honors in the College of Engineering. His other UT honors and activities include Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society, Golden Key Honors Society, and band and orchestra.
Top graduates at UT-Knoxville have the highest grade points averages (GPA) in their colleges. The minimum GPA to be a top grad is a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
