KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Thomas H. Meador, son of Melvin and Minnie Lou Meador, Centerville, earned top graduate honors in summer commencement exercises Friday at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Meador, a human resource development major, was top graduate in the College of Human Ecology. As a student, he also earned membership in Gamma Beta Phi, Kappa Omicron Nu, and Gold Key honors societies.
Top graduates at UT-Knoxville have the highest grade point averages (GPA) in their colleges. A minimum 3.5 average on a 4.0 scale is required.
