KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Summer commencement exercises are scheduled Friday, Aug. 14, at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with 1,400 degree candidates.
Registrar Al Crews said approximately 750 students are expected to participate in commencement exercises starting 9 a.m. in Thompson-Boling Assembly Center and Arena.
Roger S. Kintzel, publisher of the Atlanta Journal and the Atlanta Constitution, will be the commencement speaker.
