KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Nathan August Dampf, son of Frank and Sherre Dampf of Monroe, earned the academic honor summa cum laude at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville for the spring 1998 term.
Students whose grade point averages are 3.8 through 4.0 earn summa cum laude honors, those who make 3.65 through 3.79 earn magna cum laude, and those with averages of 3.5 through 3.64 earn cum laude.
