KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Grant T. Rohmen, son of Dan and Sandy Rohmen of Sevierville, earned the academic honor summa cum laude at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville for the spring 1998 term.

Rohmen, a sophomre majoring in pre-med, was a graduate of Sevier County High School. He also received the Roddy scholarship and is part of the honors program.

Students whose grade point averages are 3.8 through 4.0 earn summa cum laude honors, those who make 3.65 through 3.79 earn magna cum laude, and those with averages of 3.5 through 3.64 earn cum laude.
