MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — A daylong conference to help women-owned businesses earn government contracts and sales over the Internet will be held here June 11.

Amy Bunton of the University of Tennessee Procurement and Technical Assistance Center said participants will have the opportunity to meet individually with representatives of local banks, military and civilian agencies of government, government prime contractors, and women-owned businesses.

Seminars also are scheduled to help business owners learn how to expand their markets and increase sales, Bunton said.

Admission to the conference, including a luncheon and a reception, is $30. Contact UT Event Management Services, 1-880-424-3905, to register or for more information.

The conference is hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the National Association of Women Business Owners, the Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Middle Tennessee State University, Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, UT, and the Women’s Business Resource Center.
