KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Dr. Joseph E. Johnson, president of the University of Tennessee, will speak at the April 16 meeting of the Sullivan County/Kingsport chapter of the UT National Alumni Association.
A 6 p.m. social time will be followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the Meadow View Conference Center, 1901 Meadow View Parkway. The cost is $35 per person, or $60 per couple.

The theme of the program is “A Tradition of Excellence.” Along with President Johnson’s address will be a musical performance by UTK faculty. A silent auction of special UT paraphernalia also is scheduled.
