PHOENIX, Ariz. — Dr. Harry “Hap” McSween, professor of geological sciences at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, will speak at the March 14 meeting of the Phoenix chapter of the UT National Alumni Association.

 A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Ramada Valley Ho Resort, 6850 Main St., Scottsdale. The cost is $15 per person.

 McSween worked last summer with other scientists at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, Calif., directing the Mars rover to the now famous “Barnacle Bill” and “Yogi” rocks.
