KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Erin Kathleen Dodd, daughter of David Dodd and granddaughter of Hank and Shirley Elmore, all of Oak Ridge, earned the academic honor summa cum laude for the fall 1997 term at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Students whose grade point average is 3.8 through 4.0 earn summa cum laude; those who make 3.65 through 3.79 earn magna cum laude; and those with a grade point average of 3.5 through 3.64 earn cum laude honors.
