SHEFFIELD, Ala. — Joan Cronan, director of women’s athletics at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, will speak at the Feb. 24 meeting of the Shoals, Ala., chapter of the UT National Alumni Association.
A 6:15 p.m. reception will be followed by dinner at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, 4900 Hatch Blvd., Sheffield.

In 1973, Cronan created and directed the women’s athletics program at the College of Charleston. She came to UT-Knoxville as women’s athletics director in 1983.
