KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A series of one-day workshops about the Internet and World Wide Web taught by faculty of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville starts Jan. 17.

 Registration fees for the workshops, offered by the School of Information Sciences, range from $60 to $75 per session.

 The workshops include: “Web Basics,” Jan. 17; “Finding Information on the Web,” Jan. 24; “Internet Issues,” Jan. 31; “Introduction to HTML,” Feb. 21; and “Advanced HTML and Web Page Design,” Feb. 28.

 All sessions are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays, with a one-hour lunch break. For more information and workshop locations call George Hoemann, 423-974-5917.
