KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Eight Weakley County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
The recipients:
— Cynthia Brasher, 746 Sharon Road, Sharon, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Martin. She is the daughter of Joe and Phyllis Brasher.
— Ashley Cleek, 690 Bynum Road, Dresden, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Martin for her accomplishment at Dresden High School. She is the daughter of Don and Judy Cleek.
— Andrea M. Coffman, 428 Moody Ave., Martin, earned a four-year $12,000 Andy Holt scholarship at UT-Martin. She is the daughter of Daryl and Mary Lee Kreiling.
— David M. Hamlin, 346 E. Main St., Sharon, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Martin for her accomplishment at Sharon High School. He is the son of Coleman and Wanda Hamlin.
— Leila G. Jarrett, 206 Orchard St., Gleason, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Martin for her accomplishment at Gleason High School. She is the daughter of James and Deborah Jarrett.
— Jessica Robinson, 404 W. Main St., Greenfield, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Martin for her accomplishment at Greenfield High School. She is the daughter of Danny and Donna Robinson.
— Elizabeth L. Wade, 214 Edgewood, Martin, earned a $1,500 upperclass scholarship at UT-Martin. She is the daughter of Linda L. Wade.
— Nicolas R. Wilson, 180 Gaylord Road, Dresden, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Martin. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Wilson.
