KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Three Putnam County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
The recipients:
Mary R. Cooper, 1542 Lake Villa Circle, Cookeville, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for her accomplishment at Upperman High School. She is the daughter of Donnie and Rosemary Cooper.
Eli M. Covington, 1473 Bear Creek Road, Cookeville, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Lloyd R. Covington.
Andrew S. York, 1275 Benson Road, Cookeville, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Jimmie E. and Shirley York.
