KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Five Marshall County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
The recipients:
— Sabrina Leigh Baxter, 2636 Batten Road, Lewisburg, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Martin for her accomplishment at Forrest High School. She is the daughter of Larry and Brenda Baxter.
— Mary Jane Chunn, 403 S. Horton Parkway, Chapel Hill, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Martin. She is the daughter of John and Beth Chunn.
— Mark P. Dowlen, 1266 Cornersville Highway, Lewisburg, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for his accomplishment at Cornersville High School. He is the son of Henry and Pat Dowlen.
— Henry Pendergrass, 3897 Ball Lane, Chapel Hill, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Martin.
— Nancy Warden, 2933 Warner Road, Lewisburg, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Martin. She is the daughter of Thomas and Peggy Warden.
