KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Seven Sullivan County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
The recipients:
— Timothy J. Davenport, 140 Keystone Drive, Blountville, earned a $1,500 upperclass scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Joseph and Linda Davenport.
— Eric J. East, 495 Merman Road, Kingsport, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for his accomplishment as a student at Sullivan South High School. He is the son of John and Glenda East.
— Gregory Kitzmiller, 3309 Hull Drive, Kingsport, earned a $1,500 upperclass scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Richard and Rosemary Kitzmiller.
— Shawn J. Reece, 3808 Summit Drive, Kingsport, earned a $1,500 community college scholarship at UT-Knoxville. Formerly a student at Northeast State Technical Community College, he is the son of Carolyn McClain.
— Tracy N. Sawyer, 200 Sequoyah Drive, Blountville, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for her accomplishment as a student at Tennessee High School. She is the daughter of Rob and Andrea Sawyer.
— Brian N. Underwood, 2010 Adair St., Kingsport, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship for his accomplishment as a student at Sullivan North High School. He is the son of Bob and Mary Underwood.
— Travis C. Wiles, 408 Oakmont Drive, Kingsport, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Chattanooga. He is the son of Mark and Rosemary Wiles.
