KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Three Gibson County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
The recipients:
— Sovell W. Huey, 178 Trenton Highway, Milan, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Knoxville. He is the son of Benjamin M. and Tina Walker Huey.
— Amber L. McMinn, 506 Parker St., Gibson, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Martin for her accomplishment as a student at Gibson County High School. She is the daughter of Allen and Paula McMinn.
— Dustin Warrington, 26 Eldad Road, Trenton, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Martin for his accomplishment at Humboldt High School. He is the son of Fred Warrington.
