KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two Henderson County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
The recipients:
— Matthew R. Horn, 16255 Tenn. Hwy. 104 North, Lexington, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for his accomplishment as a student at Lexington High School. He is the son of Robert Hicks and Carol B. Horn.
— Joshua Jowers, 14505 Natchez Trace Road, Lexington, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship at UT-Martin. He is the son of Ricky and Lisa Jowers.
