KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two Dyer County students are recent recipients of scholarships from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.
Kristi M. Bohannon, 108 N. Grayson, Newbern, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for her accomplishment as a student at Dyer County High School. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bohannon.
Christine K. Burks, 526 Sugg Place, Dyersburg, earned a $1,500 community college scholarship at UT-Martin. Formerly a student at Dyersburg State Community College, she is the daughter of Sandra Dailey and Leonard Kressin.
