KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– Two Shelbyville students at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville are recent recipients of scholarships from the UT National Alumni Association.
Joshua C. Landers, 308 Greenbrier Ave., Shelbyville, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship. A graduate of Shelbyville Central, he is the son of Burt and Connie Landers.
Melissa Vannatta, 100 Cedar Creek Estates, Shelbyville, earned a $1,500 freshman scholarship. Also a Central graduate, she is the daughter of Ron and Bette Vannatta.
