KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– Anna Brooke Batey, Hendersonville, is a recent recipient of the four-year Andrew D. Holt Scholarship at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

 Batey, the daughter of Lee Ann and Roger Batey, is a graduate of Hendersonville High School, where she was yearbook editor and president of the Environmental Science Club.

 The Holt scholarship, funded through unrestricted annual giving to UT, is worth $3,000 annually. Batey is majoring in engineering.

 Kiser, the son of Beth Kenemore and Bob Kiser, is a graduate of Powell High School, where he was band captain and winner of the Rohm and Haas Award for outstanding chemistry student.

 Mitchell, the daughter of Jean and Michael Mitchell, is a graduate of Boyd-Buchanan High School, where her honors included valedictorian, treasurer of the National Honor Society, and letters in two sports.

 The Holt scholarship, funded through unrestricted annual giving to UT, is worth $3,000 annually. Mitchell is majoring in chemistry.
