Dr. Joseph E. Johnson, president of the University of Tennessee, will speak to the Piedmont Chapter of the UT National Alumni Association Sept. 18.
UT alumni and friends are invited to the 7 p.m. meeting at the Painted Plate, 2001 N. Church St., Greensboro. A reception is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Cost of the meal is $22.50.
