The Upper Plateau Chapter of the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association has scheduled a picnic for Aug. 15 at Celina K-8 School.
Alumni and friends are invited to attend. The Clay County Cattleman’s Association will cater a steak dinner. The event will get underway at 6 p.m. Cost is $8 and reservations must be made by Aug. 11 by calling David or Elaine Smith at 615-243-2615.
Betsy Roberts, director of development for women’s athletics, and John Currie, with the men’s athletic development staff, will speak.
The UT National Alumni Association has more than 200,000 members world-wide.
