MARTIN, Tenn. — Clayton McWhorter, a University of Tennessee trustee and former chairman of Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corp., will speak to UT-Martin’s fall semester graduates Dec. 15.
Approximately 300 students are expected to receive degrees at the commencement, set for 2 p.m. Sunday in the Elam Center at UTM. UT President Joe Johnson will confer the degrees.
McWhorter attended UT-Knoxville in 1951-52 and earned a pharmacy degree from Samford University in 1955.
