KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– An Atlanta couple has added $50,000 to a University of Tennessee scholarship fund they established in 1988.

Thomas and Linda Morris’ gift to UT’s 21st Century Campaign goes to an endowment that provides undergraduate scholarships in the UT-Knoxville College of Business Administration.

Tom Morris, a 1966 UT business graduate, is a divisional senior vice president for Paine-Webber in Atlanta.

“We are grateful for the continued support of our alumni,” Dean Warren Neel said. “The Morris’ gift helps improve the quality of students who graduate and, in turn, the multitude of organizations the college serves.”

UT-Knoxville has more than $150 million pledged toward its 21st Century Campaign goal of $175 million. The statewide campaign goal is $308 million.
