KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — University of Tennessee trustees, in a telephone conference call Friday, approved their assignments to board committees.
The assignments had been recommended by trustee Steve Ennis of Tullahoma and the board of trustees executive committee. They are:
Academic — Roger Dickson (chairman), Chattanooga; Johnnie Amonette (vice chairman), Memphis; Barbara Castleman, Martin; Ennis; Charles Harding (UT-Martin faculty), Martin; Carl Johnson, Nashville; Jennifer Logan (UT-Martin student), Troy; Bryant Millsaps (Higher Education Commission), Nashville; Arnold Perl, Memphis; and Jane Walters (state education commissioner), Nashville.
Agriculture — Dan Wheeler (chairman and state agriculture commissioner), Nashville; Roy Flowers (vice chairman), Nashville; Castleman; Charles Coffey, Shelbyville; Amon Evans, Columbia; Tom Kerney, Kingsport; Frank Kinser, Chattanooga; and Logan.
