KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– The executive committee of the University of Tennessee board of trustees will meet by conference phone call Aug. 21.
Beauchamp Brogan, UT general counsel and board secretary, said the purpose of the 11 a.m. meeting will be to consider appointments of trustees to the board’s standing committees. The committee will also be asked to approve a Chair of Excellence in Computational Mechanics at the UT Space Institute in Tullahoma.
The conference call will originate from the president’s office, 831 Andy Holt Tower.
